Building, Breaking, and Blowing Things Up!!

Those are the three "Bs" in our home--they probably are in yours also, especially if you have boys. Fortunately, at their current ages, we are much more heavy on the building part of things!! Our boys love to build! They've got lots of Legos and they like to build with the Magnetix (shown above). They received some of these for Christmas a few years ago. The Magnetix are wonderful if you are ever looking for toys in addition to Legos. Our children also found a large bag of the Magnetix at a garage sale this summer. Moms, please give your sons lots and lots of things to build with--they will get really creative, just sit back and watch. Have a blessed weekend!!

My son just got 2 packages of magnetix given to him SUnday afternoon when an elderly lady dropped by and knocked our door. She only has grown boys now she said and no grandchildren and she noticed we had a little boy and she was so happy to give it to him. And he was so happy to receive it :) We thanked her and had her come in and sit and talked a bit. Later, my son wrote her a thank you note using my fall stationary and slid the note under her door. (we live in a condominium building..like an apartment only were owners so there's lots of older people living here and few families. We like it because were a small family, its just Rob and I are our son)
He loves building things, lego, magnetix and playing board games too is another favorite :)
I smiled when I seen this picture and post :)

Paula - Thank you for visiting my blog and leaving your sweet comment. In addition to the rain we had very loud thunder and a fierce hailstorm. All of that followed by the most incredible rainbows in the sky! More than once.

I'm going to look for Magnetix for my little grandsons for Christmas. I wish they had them when our two were little.
